Parking in Gedling

We provide and manage public car parks in Arnold, Calverton, Carlton, Gedling, Mapperley and Netherfield.

In July 2011 councillors confirmed that the council will introduce a two hour free period in all its car parks.

The two hour free parking period was one of the key pledges set out by the successful Labour Group in its manifesto for the recent Borough Council election.

Penalty Charges

If you parked illegally in any of the council’s car parks you may receive a penalty charge notice.

All fines are dealt with by Nottinghamshire County Council.  Details of how to pay for or appeal against a penalty charge notice are printed on the notice. Further information can be found on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.
